Overall: Ensure that all policies and procedures are being met and that everyone is working according to the standards. Manage all aspects so that the salon is running smoothly and that our staff and clients are happy.

Retail
· Ensure we practice what we teach in Immersion
· Work with Stylists/Colorists and Apprentices to help increase our retail sales through one on ones
· Analyze daily reports to see trends and weak spots to create ways to increase

Managers

· Manage all Managers and Supervisors and their development


Stylists and Colorists
· Meet with each one once a week to review retail and client numbers
· Manage day to day issues as they arise
· Sign off on time off requests (based on minimum number requirement)
· Ensure they are following all policies and standards
· Review annually and offer commission increase if met requirements
· Ensure they are following the ideal service
· Ensure they are practicing what we preach
· Hold group meetings quarterly based on levels

Apprentices

· Work with Lead Apprentices on any issues that arise

· Ensure they are following all policies and standards

· Ensure they are following the ideal service

· Approve days off

· Hold Monthly Meetings

· Hold weekly evaluations with new hires for their first 6 weeks


Shampoo Technicians
· Ensure they are providing great customer service
· Ensure they are draping according to our standard
· Ensure they are recommending product

Customer Service Coordinators
· Ensure they are providing great customer service
· Ensure they are following all of the service standards
· Responsible for petty cash distribution and balance
· Responsible for ensuring the drawers balance out daily
· Ensure all front desk operations run smoothly
· Ensure the call center runs effectively

Recruiting/Hiring

· Recruit new employees through advertisements, word of mouth, internet postings

· Organize ongoing demos at beauty schools

· Interview all Reception and Apprentice candidates

· Coordinate second interviews with Connie


Public Relations
· Approve staff that needs to be pulled the day of (based on minimum requirements)
· Create an understanding and importance of PR to our culture
· Be aware of all clients sent to the salon by PR
· Help coordinate PR events when necessary

Product Development

· Send updated stylist rate list as necessary

· Coordinate space when testing is needed


Customer Service
· Ensure all positions are properly trained and are offering great customer service
· Research and implement ways to increase our level of customer service and our image
· Create new systems and programs to support any weak spots
· Handle client issues when necessary
